A little about me

If you remember back to elementary school Social Studies, you might have heard of my hometown. The city is the capital of Kansas and rhymes with eureka! Yep, the answer is Topeka. As a Topekan—a true midwesterner—I’m decent at giving long, drawn-out goodbyes, working hard, and driving for hours through farmlands.

I put those driving skills to the test when I decided to attend SMU down in Texas (pony up!). Dallas grew on me, so I had to stay.

With some time, luck, and great coworkers, I’ve evolved into a Senior Copywriter at Razorfish. Am I a Pokemon? Is this my final form? Unsure. But I know I enjoy writing. And I know that good creative challenges keep me going.

When I’m not at my desk, I love exploring Dallas, getting a good laugh in, small concerts, golfing, and pho by the lake; these are the little comforts. But the best way to get to know me might be on the golf course—you can learn a lot about a person over 3+ hours of trying to get an inch-wide ball into a cup hundreds of yards away, 18 times.
